Many of our clients aim to discover the real truth about their spouse, partner, or fiancé. They often ask for a fidelity or relationship polygraph exam, commonly referred to as domestic testing. This post provides a brief explanation of how the domestic testing process operates...

Arranging a polygraph test with Focused Polygraph is straightforward. Contact us through our contact page to schedule a phone call. During this initial conversation, we will go over your case and explain how we can help. You choose an available date and pay a deposit to reserve your spot. Once you select the date and time for your test, we will provide you with logistical details.
Both partners are welcome to come to the office on the test day. If desired, the partner not taking the test can speak with the polygraph examiner about the issues of concern before the test without their partner present. This ensures that the key issues are covered during the polygraph. During the test, only the person taking the test will be in the room with the polygraph examiner.
The Polygraph Exam consists of three parts: pre-test, in-test, and post-test, usually taking 2-3 hours. During the pre-test, topics are discussed, questions are thoroughly reviewed, a practice test is conducted, and questions can be adjusted if necessary. There are no unexpected questions on the test. The in-test phase is when the questions are presented and the test is evaluated. The post-test is the concluding stage, involving a final discussion of the questions and addressing any concerns.
The results of the polygraph test will be communicated to the person taking the test by phone on the day of the examination. Upon request, a written report including the relevant questions, results, and definitions used during the test will be provided within 8 hours after the test is completed.
We advise clients not to rely solely on polygraph results for making decisions. Rather, they should view the results as a component of a comprehensive approach. Polygraph exams are effective tools for uncovering the truth. Many clients have regained trust and confidence in their relationships, while others have used the exams to verify their suspicions.
